Alberta Invites 683 Candidates in Latest Immigration Draws

Alberta has held three new draws under the Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP), inviting 683 candidates for provincial nomination. The biggest draw came on 12 August 2025, through the Alberta Opportunity Stream, where 581 candidates with a minimum CRS score of 70 were selected.

A day earlier, on 11 August, the Dedicated Health Care Pathway (non-Express Entry) invited 39 candidates with scores of at least 53. On 7 August, another 63 healthcare professionals were picked via the Express Entry stream with a minimum score of 56.

These draws highlight Alberta’s push to fill labour shortages, especially in healthcare, while also supporting skilled workers already living in the province.
