Hungary has introduced new rules for immigration filings that employers should not ignore. Following the phase-out of the AVDH system and the move of FEDOR into the ePapír platform, immigration authorities now require a qualified electronic signature with a timestamp for electronically submitted immigration documents.
This change affects companies and individuals sponsoring visas or permits. Employers can still use authorized immigration representatives, but there is a catch. Representatives must now be officially registered in the Central Register of Dispositions (RNY) for immigration matters.
Miss the registration step, and you may face delays. Are your representatives properly registered yet? Now is the time to check.
