Amstelveen has the highest Indian population. Migration surged in 2022, with nearly 11,000 arrivals. In 2024, net migration was 4,000, with 9,392 arrivals and 5,411 departures. Indian migration has grown since 2005 but slowed after 2022. Many still choose to settle in the Netherlands for the long term.
