Indonesia Opens Doors to Foreigners for Non-Formal Learning Visas

Thinking of taking a language course or professional training in Indonesia? Now you can! The Indonesian government is offering non-formal education visas (E30) to foreign nationals. These limited stay visas are valid for 1 or 2 years, and applications can be made online.

You’ll need a guarantor, a valid passport, proof of $2,000 in living expenses, and a photo. Fees are IDR 6 million per year and IDR 8.5 million for two years.

Indonesia also extended formal education visas (E30A & E30B) to a maximum of 4 years. Great news for foreign students eyeing Indonesian universities or short-term learning programs!
