NOA Warns Nigerians: Don’t Misuse Your U.S. Visa

The National Orientation Agency (NOA) is urging Nigerians to use their U.S. visas responsibly. Director General Mallam Lanre Issa-Onilu warned that breaking visa rules, like overstaying or lying about your purpose, can lead to deportation or even a lifetime ban.

He reminded travelers that U.S. authorities keep an eye on visa holders even after they enter the country. Students were also advised to renew their visas on time.

Carrying undeclared cash or banned items? That could land you in serious trouble, too. The NOA cautioned against using tourist visas just to give birth in the U.S. Bottom line: follow the rules or risk losing your shot at future travel.
