The US is reviewing records of over 55 million visa holders to check if they broke entry or stay rules. Officials say visas could be revoked for overstays, criminal activity, public safety threats, or links to terrorism.
Visa holders will now face “continuous vetting,” including social media checks for anti-American views. Recently, Secretary of State Marco Rubio also paused worker visas for truck drivers, citing safety concerns. The move signals an even stricter stance on immigration.
