Canada Holds First Express Entry Draw Under New Immigration Minister

Canada just held its first Express Entry draw under the new Immigration Minister, inviting 277 candidates through the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP). To receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA), candidates needed a CRS score of at least 726 and must’ve created their Express Entry profile before September 24, 2024.

This draw follows recent selections targeting Canadian Experience Class, education, and healthcare streams. So far in 2025, IRCC has issued 34,717 ITAs, with PNP draws taking the lead. Wondering how the CRS system works? It helps Canada choose skilled workers most likely to thrive in the labor market. Could you be next? Stay tuned for more updates on Canada’s immigration draws!
