Flying to India just got easier! As of October 1, foreign nationals are no longer required to complete paper arrival cards at airports. Instead, you’ll now complete a digital e-arrival card online. The form must be submitted on the Bureau of Immigration website between 72 and 24 hours before your flight.
It’s free, quick, and only requires basic details, such as your passport number, nationality, and address in India. No documents need to be uploaded.
Immigration officers will already have your info when you land, meaning faster clearance and shorter queues. Please note that this is mandatory for all foreigners, while Indian nationals and OCI cardholders are exempt. Would you prefer this new digital system?
