Iranian police have detained 43 undocumented Afghan migrants in Tonekabon city, located in Mazandaran province. Authorities say the arrests followed intelligence reports and were carried out with court coordination.

Officials stated the migrants had entered Iran illegally and warned citizens against employing undocumented foreign nationals. Legal action, they said, will follow violations. This comes as Iran ramps up deportations of Afghan migrants, averaging around 400 removals per day in recent months.
