Eligibility

You are eligible for this visa if,

  • You have retired from any place in the globe and are not a resident of the Kingdom of Bahrain, receiving a base salary of at least 4,000 Bahraini Dinars.
  • You possess one or more properties in the Kingdom of Bahrain, with a combined market value of all your properties at the time of purchase of at least 200,000 Bahraini Dinars.
  • You have been employed in Bahrain for at least five years and have earned an average basic wage of at least 2,000 Bahraini Dinars throughout that time.
  • You have a talent that can be useful.

Documents

The documents needed for a golden visa may differ depending on the basis of your application. For instance, different documents are required for investors, employees, retirees, etc. Some of them are given below.

  • The passport is still valid after six months.
  • A copy of the applicant's six-month bank statement.
  • A current Bahraini Kingdom health insurance certificate.
  • A basic salary proof must show that it is at least 4,000 Bahraini Dinars.
  • Property deeds in the Kingdom of Bahrain are worth at least 200,000 Bahraini dinars.
  • A document attesting to your talent or aptitude.
  • Previously issued dwelling permit (If available).

There is no need to provide all these documents but only the ones required.

Process

Those who own properties worth at least 200,000 dinars are also eligible to receive the golden residence, as well as "talented" individuals. Those eligible may apply for a golden residence visa.
