About

The qualified investor program or the golden visa for Panama is considered one of the most efficient ways to gain permanent residency. Eligibility

The applicant must make one of the following eligible investments:

  • Investment in Panama real estate for five years totaling 300,000 USD (or 500,000 USD commencing on October 15, 2022); or
  • 550,000 USD in over 5 years in Panamanian securities; or
  • 750,000 USD deposited in over 5 years in a Panama bank that has been approved.

Apart from that, the applicant may have to pay an extra 2,000 USD for each dependent.

The applicant must fulfil the following requirements while applying for this visa.

  • Provide identity documents, including a passport.
  • Coloured photographs as per the instruction in the visa regulations.
  • A thoroughly filled visa application form.
  • Documents of dependents, if any.
  • The candidate must provide proof of investment in Panama in order to be considered.
  • The investment capital must come from abroad.
  • Additionally, the investment must be kept for a minimum of five years.
