A tourist visa for Egypt is good for three months after it is issued. In order to enter Egypt securely, another eVisa must be requested for, processed, and obtained if it is not used before this time limit expires.

The length of a tourist visa for Egypt can be increased by three months. You must submit your visa extension application in person at the appropriate immigration office in Cairo in order to request an extension. Online submission of the extension request is not possible.
