Alberta Holds Five New Immigration Draws, Invites 202 Candidates

Alberta is keeping its doors open for skilled workers! Between October 8 and 21, 2025, the Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP) held five immigration draws, inviting 202 candidates across tech, aviation, agriculture, and healthcare sectors.

The biggest draw was on October 21, with 89 invitations issued through the Accelerated Tech Pathway. These draws reflect Alberta’s focus on priority sectors for 2025, including construction, agriculture, and healthcare.

So far this year, Alberta has held 69 draws and issued 4,689 provincial nominations, leaving 1,714 spaces still available. The province continues to attract global talent through the Alberta Express Entry Stream and Dedicated Healthcare Pathways.
