For their convenience in obtaining a visa, the government introduced Brief Duration Visa.

This visa can also be used for short emergency visits for business, family, medical examination, to participate in a specific high-profile event.

Brief Duration Visa allows you a 7-day visit. And this short-term Visa cannot be used to obtain a country's permanent residence. It is also used if a foreigner's work visa is approved and they are entering the country to collect visa.

ELIGIBILITY

You need to fulfil some requirements to obtain this Brief Duration Visa. You need.

DOCUMENTS

All applicants are requested to submit these documents.

  • Passport (valid for at least nine months)
  • Two actual passport photographs (female acceptably covered and males in shirts and ties)
  • Copy of Flight itinerary and return ticket.
  • Proof of enough financial means for the duration of intended visit.
  • Bank Statement for the previous six months
  • Two application forms that were signed by you.
  • Documents that prove your employment/unemployment (documentation that proves your business activity).
  • Have a notarized guaranteed letter sent by your host to the embassy.
  • The arrangmwnt that you have accommodation for the period of stay (if your host is accommodating you. It should be mentioned in the Invitation Letter).

PROCESS

Foreign nationals from 62 selected countries can use electronic medium to apply for their E-Visa. This facility will provide them with official travel permit. On arriving at the airport, you will recieve you Visa.

This Visa usually takes 2-8 working days on average.

DURATION AND FEES

Duration
The Angola short-term visa has a validity of only 7 days and it must be utilized within 72 hours after the issuing date.

Fees
The cost of this Visa is around 80-180 USD. This cost may vary depending upon your nationality and the location you are applying from.

The service fee of online resources is separate, it is around 50 USD

EXTENSION

This Short-term Visa can only be extended for a further period of 10 days. And it can be only extended by presenting a valid argument in the application.

Note: People working in the oil and mining sector must show the letter from their firm in supoort of their visa extension application.
