This visa is not given to everyone who applies. Instead, it is for certain people who need special protection. This visa has been sub-categorized into two types of visas.

Normal Privilege Visa
This visa is given for only some domestic reasons. You cannot invole in professional activities on a Normal Privilege visa.

Privilege Visa
Visa lying in the Privilege category allows you to perform all professional activities. You can build business contacts, attend conferences, charity etc.; if you have these peculiar reasons, you should apply for this visa.

ELIGIBILITY

  • A passport that is valid for at-least 1 year from the date your application is submitted.
  • Have a valid reason and evidence to prove that you have a particular reason to avail this visa.
  • Health certificates that show you are in good health.
  • Previously not involved in any criminal activity.

DOCUMENTS

Documents required for Angola Privilege Visa are following;

  • A passport that is valid for at-least 1 year and have four blank pages.
  • Recent photographs applicable for official use. And these photographs must be with white background.
  • Documentation proving your education and expertise.
  • Proof of enough resources to sustain yourself in the country.
  • Copy of residency permit.
  • Tax returns documents.
  • Health certificates.
  • Completely filled Visa application form.

Note that all documents uploaded on the website should be scanned and saved before the process of upload. Scan size must be A4.
Pictures and supporting images are acceptable in JPEG or TIFF formats.

PROCESS

The Angolan government usually grant this visa only to the investors and businesspersons who bring capital to the country. The process varies depending on the country of origin, bank requirements and personal circumstances. All documents must be translated into Portuguese language before submission.

It is generally expected that the process may take around 2 weeks. However there no specific timeline provided by the Angolian Authorities. Duration of visa issued also depends upon your nationality and current status in Angola.
