You can apply to prolong your stay in the country Before your visa expires through the Kuwait Immigration Department. However, you will have to pay a penality of KD 10, or roughly USD 30, if you continue to live there unlawfully after your visa's validity has expired. Until the full fine is paid, you won't be permitted to leave the country.
