American Whig-Cliosophic Society, created in 1765, is the oldest literary, political and debate society in the country. It is the oldest and largest student organization on campus. Princeton University has several publications and a radio station on campus. Daily Princetonian, also known as The Prince, was started in 1876, which makes it the second oldest college student newspaper in the country.

USG (Undergraduate Student Government) serves as Princeton University's student government. This government funds sponsors campus events, student organization events and represents the undergraduate student body when convening with administration and faculty.

A variety of recreational programs and physical education are provided by the university. The university supports organized athletics at three levels: club intercollegiate, varsity intercollegiate and intramural. Princeton University host 37 women's and men's varsity sports. In addition to that, it also hosts 37 club sports teams, which are open to all students of any skill level.

Accommodation

The university guarantees housing for students for all four years, with more than 98% of undergraduates living on campus. Sophomores and Freshmen need to live on campus, specifically in one of the University's six residential colleges.
