ABOUT

Western Norway University of Applied Sciences, often known as HVL, is a Norwegian public institution of higher education founded in January 2017 by the merger of previously independent schools over five campuses. These campuses are Bergen, Farde, Haugesund, Sogndal, and Stord.

Around thousands of students graduate from HVL each year, and they go on to contribute to important social missions in various working environments, including enterprises, organizations, and other aspects of working life. The HVL system has five campuses and a distance of about 400 kilometers along the western coast of Norway.
