The University of Paris-Saclay is a public institute based in Paris, France. This university is part of the Paris-Saclay project, a business cluster and research-intensive academic campus being developed in Paris. It is the central hub for research and training within the technology cluster of Paris-Saclay. It integrates a number of French leading grandes écoles, leading colleges, faculties, and research centres in various fields that are part of the world's top research associations.

It is one of the 13 prestigious institutions that were formed by the division of the University of Paris, which is also known as Sorbonne. This university has achieved notable recognition in mathematics. Around 11 Field Medalists have been affiliated with the University of Paris-Saclay and its research institutes. Institut des Hautes Études Scientifiques at the university is known as the birthplace of modern algebraic geometry and catastrophe theory.

Paris-Saclay University is organized into 5 faculties in Medicine, Sciences, Pharmacy, Sports Sciences and Law-Economics-Management.

Students

The university has around 60,000 students enrolled, of which 23,000 are postgraduates. AE2V is the university's student union that aims to organize events, develop interactions between students, and offer cultural, sports, and festive or entertaining activities throughout the year.

At the University of Paris-Saclay, various clubs and societies cover diverse political, social, and cultural interests. ANCHOR is a club with 20 members who are the university's researchers, engineers, teachers, technicians, and administrative staff. These all members are dynamic singers who perform various works, most frequently a cappella, covering all collections from the 16th to 22nd century. 

Accommodation

The CROUS Versailles is the source partner for the University of Paris-Saclay and higher education in general. It offers low-cost studios and one-room and two-room apartments. CROUS housing is available on each Université Paris-Saclay campus. It is within the surrounding area of associated schools and universities. This housing option is affordable and cheapest in the market and is requested via the accommodation's website, GUPS (Guichet Unique Paris-Saclay) or DSE (Dossier Social Etudiant).

Studapart is another web platform that lists various student residences. This allows students to find the right place according to their location, budget, rent and size.
