Algeria business visa is issued to foreign nationals who want to travel to Algeria for a business tour. For example, a businessman, a representative of a company, or a foreign company’s employee can get this visa. • Original passport with a validity of six months and at least two blank pages
• Filled and signed visa application form
• 2-3 fresh passport-size photos
• A letter from the employer to state your position in the company, the reason to travel, and a confirmation that the company will cover the expenses of the trip.
• A letter of invitation or sponsorship from a genuine company located in Algeria with which you will do the business.
• The invitation letter must be stamped/legalized by the mayor's office of Algeria
• Proof of hotel reservation or other accommodation where you will stay in Algeria

• In-person: After taking an appointment from the Algerian embassy serving your region, you can apply by hand.
• By courier: You can send documents by urgent mail or courier if the embassy supports this route.
• By proxy: While applying by this route, you have to give a letter of authorization, giving your consent to the person applying on your behalf.
• Visa application agency: If you are processed by a visa agency, then the application is submitted by the same agency.

Visa processing time
Processing time for an Algerian business visa varies according to the nationality and type of visa (single entry/multiple entries) but generally, the visa processing time is 10-20 days. But if there are missing or wrong documents, the processing time can be increased.

Duration
The duration of an Algeria business visa can reach a maximum of 90 days. However, it can be extended if required. The entry date to Algeria and the exit date are mentioned on the visa.

There is no set standard of Algerian visa fees applicable to all. Fees vary from country to country and also depend upon the type of visa (single entry/multiple entry/short stay/long stay). You can get genuine information about the visa fees from the Algerian embassy serving your region.

An Algerian business visa is extendable if you have a valid reason to apply for an extension. Application for extension should be submitted to the foreign office in Algeria with a genuine reason, at least 15 days before the expiry of the original visa.

Work
You can’t use a business visa for working in Algeria where an employer is responsible for undertaking your expenses. It's solely for business purposes.

Study
The study isn’t allowed on a business visa. For this, you have to get a study visa for Algeria.

Dependents
You can take your dependents with you but they will need separate visas. All the expenses of dependents will be your responsibility if the company isn’t undertaking those expenses.

Extension
