How to apply
Depending upon the embassy rules, you can apply them in different ways.

  • In-person – You can apply by yourself after taking an appointment with the Algerian embassy. This is the safest way to apply
  • By courier – Second way to apply for a family visa to Algeria is by urgent mail or courier if the Algerian embassy supports this route. You have to add an extra envelope with self-address to get the visa and passport back. But if any documents are lost in this way, the embassy isn’t responsible.
  • By proxy – While applying by proxy, you have to give a notarized letter of authorization that the person will apply on your behalf.
  • By visa agency – If you are applying by a valid visa agency, then submitting of visa application is the responsibility of the visa agency.

However, all the above-mentioned ways to apply may vary from embassy to embassy depending upon their rules and regulations.

Visa Processing Time
Visa processing time is usually 10-20 days if there is no issue with the documents. If any document is incomplete or wrongly filled, it can cause a delay.
