Marriage Visa Maldives

About

If a foreign national marries a Maldivian citizen, a marriage visa enables them to remain in the country.

Before arriving in the Maldives, a foreigner who wishes to marry a Maldivian or a foreigner who is wedded to a Maldivian and wishes to record their marriage in the Maldives must be sponsored.

After arriving in the country, the foreigner may complete the formal marriage process and apply for a Marriage Visa within 30 days. If the visitor is already staying in the Maldives, a visa transfer to a Marriage Visa is required once the legal process of the marriage is finished.
