The Japan Transit Visa is a Short-Stay Visa for travellers who have to spend time in Japan while travelling to another country. With this visa, you can carry out sightseeing as well as take some rest.
If you go to your home for 24 hours after entering Japan, only then you will be able to use public transportation.
Travellers entering Japan, including those of Japanese nationality, will be denied entry unless they present a valid certificate of a COVID-19 test result that is negative.
A Japanese Transit Visa is not required for citizens of certain countries, so make sure your country requires a Transit Visa. You will need this visa if you intend to leave the airport's premises. Suppose your outbound flight is on the same calendar day as your arrival flight, and you stay in the international transit portion of the airport. In that case, you can transit without a visa.
The required document differs depending on the nationality and travel purpose of the applicant. The following documents are required for Transit Visa.
