Process

After a visa appointment, your employer in Turkey has to complete an online form. Complete it on the Turkish MLSS website within ten days and submit certain documents.

Visa Processing Time
The visa takes about 15 working days to be processed. However, depending on circumstances, this period may be longer or shorter.

When to Apply
Apply one month before the planned travel date. It is to avoid any inconveniences caused by processing delays.

Duration & Fees

Duration
Turkish consular offices have the authority to grant visas with a maximum stay of 90 days in all types of visa applications. Foreigners who want to prolong their stay for more than 90 days must apply for a "Short Term Residence Permit" at the Provincial Directorate of Migration Administration to extend their stay. Because the Work Permit Card serves as a substitute for a residence permit in Turkey, these offices' "Work Annotated Visa" can only be used for entry and for a maximum of 90 days.

Fees
The visa fee varies depending on what kind of visa you opt for and the country from which you're applying. There is a basic visa fee and some additional fees. Normally, the cost for a work visa starts from 150 USD. However, it should be noted that the visa fees are non-refundable in case your application is rejected.

Extension

The Turkish visa is initially valid for 90 out of 180 days. You can extend your visa if you have valid reasons for the renewal and are eligible for an extension. However, you cannot extend your visa online. It should be noted that the possibility of extension is dependent on your employer and it is essential not to overstay your visa.
