Visa processing takes 3 to 4 months, so you need to apply at least four months before you have to enter Portugal. According to the latest updates, interested candidates can apply after 30th October 2022.
How to Apply
There are two types of digital nomad visas for Portugal, short-stay visas and residence visas. However, the process includes the following steps:
Contact the relevant Portuguese embassy to collect the visa information.
Gather all the documents you will need for visa processing as any missing document can result in visa denial
Fill out the application form and submit it either physically or online (depending upon the policy of the related embassy)
Submit the required documents, either via email or by physically visiting the Portuguese embassy
If all the documents are complete, and the application fee is thoroughly filled, the next step is visa processing
