About

People who have conducted business for two years on some other visa that permits self-employment or who have been working for themselves in New Zealand for at least six months are eligible for this visa. 

You can keep running your business in New Zealand with this visa. You are also free to work, study, and reside here. Additionally, you are permitted to submit a visa application for your partner and any dependent children if they are 24 years old or younger.

  • be self-employed in New Zealand for 6 months.
  • provide a proper business plan.
  • be able to speak proper English.
