About

Employees and owners of multinational enterprises registered with the immigration department in Cyprus can apply for a Cyprus Business Visa. Regulation 5 of the Foreigners and Immigration Regulations serves as its legal foundation. "Permanent Residence with the Right to Work" is another name for it.

Owners of international firms with foreign interests who have invested roughly 260,000 EURO in the company's capital are eligible for a Cyprus category C visa.

Eligibility

To be eligible, you must;

  • have a proper business idea.
  • provide the investment required.
  • provide all the necessary documents.

Documents

You must provide the following documents.

  • Passport for the candidate and their family.
  • A valid temporary resident permit is required.
  • ARC or Cyprus Alien Card (Alien registration certificate).
  • The applicant's curriculum vitae (including academic qualifications).
  • The applicant, his wife, and their children are covered by health insurance coverage.
  • For the applicant and his wife, an original criminal record certificate is required (official and translation).
  • Bank statements from Cyprus and other countries.
  • Original income tax recovered for all the years (Form I.R.25).
  • Statement of social insurance contributions for all years Swift from an international bank and a declaration from a Cyprus bank on the sum of money the candidate has personally moved from abroad
  • The original rental agreement officially approved and stamped for a property in Cyprus.
  • Documents proving income and commercial operations in other nations (if applicable).

Process

Obtaining permanent residency in Cyprus with the ability to work is expected to take 12 to 18 months.

How to Apply
The applicant files a residency permit application at Nicosia's Civil Registry and Migration Department. Applicants who submit applications will be contacted for an interview. It's a basic interview in which you'll be asked general questions about them. The application can also be a visa consultant.

The length of Type C Cyprus resident permits is indefinite, valid as long as the holder is employed or the company owner.

You need to pay 70 EUR to register for this visa. If you want to include family members with you, you need to pay 500 EUR in total.
