For entry into Cyprus, foreign students from non-EU nations require a Student Visa. Only full-time overseas students are given this visa. A student who enrols in at least 12 credits each semester is considered full-time.
Each student must have the appropriate permit given by the Civil Archive and Migration Department. The educational institution for which the Student Visa is issued is specified. If a foreign student decides to switch schools, they must apply for a new residence permit.
The Ministry of Education and Culture has accepted the study programmes and disciplines, and school attendance is required.

Candidates who are EU nationals may enter Cyprus as visitors. When students arrive at the educational institution, they must hand the following documents to the admissions office.
Candidates must pay the registration cost, semester tuition fees, and register for courses in addition to the requirements above. They must submit a temporary residency permit application to the Migration Department. Evidence that they have paid their semester tuition costs, have enough money to cover their initial living expenses, and have received local health insurance coverage must be submitted with the application to the Migration Department.
Visa Processing Time
It is necessary to submit an application minimum 2-3 months before the anticipated enrollment start date because the visa process takes roughly one month.

Duration
Your temporary student residence permit is only good for one year. It can, however, be renewed every year for the remainder of your study.
Fees
The application fee for a Student Visa is 15-30 Cyprus Pounds. It is non-refundable.
At least one month before your existing permission expires, you must apply to extend your student residence permit in Cyprus. You are required to submit documents to the Migration Department to make an application.
Study
The visa is specified for educational purposes.
Work
Non-EU students are not allowed to have a part-time job, but exceptions are made for some students depending on their degree.
